To the Staff at Cam Tech, I wanted to thank all of you for being so terrific. You were there to guide us through the entire exam process. You were like our guardian angels who even showed up to the test site! That was just the inspiration I needed. I did everything Cam told us to do... paid my dues, did the course book, showed up at every class, studied and studied and BINGO.... PASSING GRADE ON THE EXAM!!!

Dear Cam, Thank you so much for the high quality, professional, Florida Residential Contractor Test training. I passed my Florida State licensing exam! I am very impressed with everyone on your staff. All the CAM TECH people that I met had an outstanding combination of professional demeanor and cordial behavior. They made me feel confident, right from the beginning, that I made the right decision when I came to Cam Tech for my exam training and that I would be successful if I followed the Cam Tech study plan. I work for a large, nation-wide retailer and I wish my colleagues in the store were as pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable as your entire staff; instructors and office alike. When I stopped by the Cam Tech office, simply looking for a reference book on construction material, I wasn't even thinking of obtaining my contractor's license even though I have the required experience. A member of your staff was the first person I met and I felt she was a wonderful representative of her company. She answered my questions, gave me just the right amount of independence to look around and asked others to help me. She was positive and encouraging when she told me about what the school does, how it does it and the costs. She was so "up-front" with all the facts, so pleasant, that I left there with a new idea planted firmly in my mind. I'm happy to say, I took the class and passed the State exam with flying colors.
Thanks again to you and all the great people at Cam Tech.

Dear Cam, I passed the general contractor's exam. Your course and study guide was the reason that I passed. Thank you for your concern for your students and the professional manner in which you conducted all of the classes. I would highly recommend your course to anyone taking any of the exams for construction licenses and feel confident that they could pass the first time.

I wanted to personally thank you for your Residential prep-course I just completed. I passed the first time with a 95% average score. I'm very proud of myself for accomplishing such a huge and stressful task. Your course certainly over-prepared me and made me more comfortable. I liked how all the people who got out early were hauling white boxes with blue CAM TECH stickers on them. Everybody around me that didn't take your course said they actually did not learn anything. I think it's important to mention that not only did I get prepared for the test, but I actually LEARNED how to use my books and have become a better person because of it. Your competition doesn't do that and it CLEARLY shows.

Just wanted to thank you for the comprehensive training we received over the last 8 weeks in preparation for the state exams. I took the test for Residential Contractor, and while I remember you consistently saying "all you need is a 70 to pass", I'm happy to say that I exceeded my own expectations, making 96.25% on the Business & Finance portion, 82,22% on the Contract Administration portion, and 86.67% on the Project Management portion. I am convinced that without the course I would not have been able to accomplish this task on the first try. Thank you very much.

I want to thank you for teaching me everything I needed to know to pass my exam. You took the time to teach the materials I needed. You gave me the confidence to study hard and do all the homework. Todd Young is the greatest teacher. He takes the extra time to make sure that a student understands the material. I took the October, 2001 test in Orlando and I PASSED the first time. I was so excited, I will always recommend CAM TECH to anyone I speak to about getting state licensed. I can't thank you enough, you have opened up new doors for me.

Happy Contractors

I attended all classes and did the Coursebook as instructed. I also completed all Practice Exams. I was blown away when I received a 97.5% on the Business and Finance and a 93.75% on the Trade Knowledge for the Roofing Contractor's exam. Thanks!

Thank you for the knowledge you shared with me. I passed the test on my first try. I would like to personally thank your instructors as they are excellent and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with Cam Tech School of Construction. Everyone was very professional. I would recommend Cam Tech to anyone taking the test. I would like to add that I am proof that if your students pay attention in class and do the take home work the test is passable on the first attempt.
Thanks to Cam Tech and Associates.

The amount of information provided was presented very straight forward. No fluff! It's serious business and demands a professional approach. Without Cam Tech I would have been easily overwhelmed. Thanks for caring! All my Instructors get an "E" for excellence. Very professional, timely, and "to the point". I was pleased with entire course!

I really don't think I would have passed this exam on the first try without Cam Tech. So many people I know have taken other schools' courses and still haven't passed! Excellent program!

Dear Cam and Staff, In today's world of onions and orchids people tend to only write a letter when things don't go their way for one reason or another, they have a bad experience (Onion). When things go really well or that same person has a really good experience (Orchid) they tend to overlook those that helped them. I would like to take this opportunity to share an Orchid with you all.
In February, I contacted the school and spoke with a representative inquiring about Cam Tech; when classes were, cost, etc. I was informed that there were upcoming informational sessions in Tampa and I could attend one for more information and to register. I will admit, I was a bit set back when I did all of the math work and realized just what it was going to cost me. However; I was really interested, so my husband and I attended your seminar. I was sicker than a dog at the time but this is what I wanted for my birthday.
Again, I admit that while sitting in the informational session, I thought to myself that there was no way that I would be able to pass this kind of testing as I was just a female and that I wouldn't know what was what from what. The only experience I had with construction was building budgets and preparing extras for my Construction Managers. When it came time for us to build something on our own, like a shed or a remodel or addition project, I had always just done what my husband told me and took it for what it was worth without question or wonder, just did it. So, here I was, sicker than a dog and thinking I was crazy for wanting to do this. I could honestly think of something else I could spend the money on. When I was told I could still back out after the first weekend of classes, I thought, what the heck, it couldn't hurt.
Following your recommendation of so many hours per week to devote to this, I utilized my lunch hours, in local restaurants surrounded by lots of noise thinking this would help me for exam day. For the next six weeks, I followed this routine until the Math Review came. At this point, I admit that I was fully prepared to call in and ask for a refund.
When the first class began, I was worried and scared all at once. I was certain I couldn't do this. The room was full of men that seemed to know what they were doing. Being a female, I felt I couldn't do this. Went home that night with all intentions of working on the "take home" test but fell asleep instead. Awoke on Sunday to return to class to where I was sure I would fail. Come Sunday night, I realized that I just made it through my first weekend and maybe I could do this after all. I continued with my studies and devoted 6-8 hours per week outside of class. Only to have my children realize that if Mom can study, they can too! They all made A honor roll.
When all was said and done, I missed the first weekend of Technical classes due to a prior commitment. I thought I would most definitely fail so I put off registering for the exam until August, completed the Review and headed to Orlando to test.
Upon sitting down and finally beginning the exam, I followed all the suggestions given by the Instructors. I found this advice worked great. As I progressed, I found that I was definitely well prepared for this exam. I had to sit for 10-15 minutes after I finished the Business and Finance portion. In doing so, those students from the other schools were a bit shocked!
I thank you from the deepest part of my heart for helping me to pass this exam. I have recommended your school to everyone and have told them it is most definitely a school that is well worth every penny I spent! I honestly don't believe I could have passed had it not been for the guidance and prep work from all at Cam Tech.
Thank you again with more gratitude than I can express!
