American Institute of Architects
2585

AIA Document A201, a general conditions form, is intended to be used as one of the contract documents forming the construction contract. In addition, it is frequently adopted by reference into a variety of other agreements, including the Owner-Architect agreements and the Contractor-Subcontractor agreements, to establish a common basis for the primary and secondary relationships on the typical construction project. This document is required for the Florida State Certified Contractor's exams for General, Builder, Residential, Mechanical, Air Conditioning A & B, Sheet Metal, Roofing, Specialty Structure, Drywall, Pollutant Storage, Plumbing, Solar, Underground Utilities, Gas Line, Commercial Pool, Residential Pool, and Pool Service.
